BayesTarget Demonstrator

BayesTarget is a powerful solution to GPS-denied drone navigation, and is compatible with most drone flight controllers and cameras. Inevitably it takes time to integrate with other drone software, so for demostration purposes we have developed a very easy-to-use hardware unit, the BayesTarget demonstrator.

Flight controllers have GPS receivers, almost always connected by serial link

To use BayesTarget Demonstrator just insert it between the GPS receiver and the drone flight controller. BayesTarget feeds coordinates to the flight controller just as the GPS receiver would, but when the GPS signal becomes unreliable it replaces the GPS coordinates with its own calculations based on digital waypoints imaged by its 16MP camera.
